This page explains my policy regarding your privacy when visiting this site or communicating electronically with me. It explains what happens to any personal data that you provide,  and to any non-personal data collected when you are on this site. This Policy is updated from time to time as legislation is revised,   so please do return and review it occasionally.

Such information does not identify you personally. It is statistical data about visitors and their use of my site. This statistical data does not identify any personal details whatsoever.

This enables me to improve the services you use most and to provide statistical information regarding the use of  this website to my advertisers where appropriate.

Use of Cookies

A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier which is transfered to your hard drive through your web browser when you visit my website. It enables my own system to recognise you when you visit again and enhance my services to you. Cookies may also be used to compile aggregate information about areas of this website that are visited most frequently. This Internet traffic information is used to enhance the content of my website and make using it easier.

My advertisers may also use cookies,  over which I have no control.  Such cookies (if used) would be downloaded once you click on advertisements on this website.

All computers have the ability to decline cookies.  This can be done by activating the setting on your browser which enables you to decline the cookies. Please note that should you choose to decline cookies,  you may be unable to access particular parts of my website.

Use of Your Information

The information that is collected and stored relating to you is primarily used to enable me to provide these services to you.

I will never send unsolicited emails to registered users or visitors who have left comments on the blog or forum. The sole exception may be an occasional seasonal electronic greeting card sent to regular contributors and members of the site.

I will never reveal your personal data to third parties unless legally forced to do so by a court or government agency.

I do not reveal any information whatsoever about identifiable individuals to advertisers but may occasionally provide them with aggregate statistical information about visitors.

I will take all reasonable steps to make sure that your personal data is treated securely and in agreement with this Privacy Policy.

The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and therefore I cannot guarantee the security of data sent to me electronically and transmission of such data is therefore entirely at your own risk. Where I have given you (or where you have chosen) a password so that you can access certain parts of this site,  you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

There are links on my website to third party websites. These websites should have their own privacy policies which you may check.  I do not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for their policies as I cannot control them.

To try and bring you offers that are of interest to you,  I have forged relationships with other companies that I allow to place ads on my Web pages. As a result of your visit to my site,  ad server companies may collect information such as your domain type,  your IP address and clickstream information.

Access To Information

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access the information that I hold about you. Be assured that the only personal data I hold about you is what you have submitted to me. Please note that any demand for access may be subject to payment of a fee of $20 which covers my costs in providing you with the information requested.
